Bass
Guitarist—Bill Morrison has been honing his skills on
the Bass Guitar for over 40 years. A New Jersey native he played
throughout the North East with well known regional bands including
The Crystal Image and Filet of Soul. Bill rounded out
his proficiency on the bass and keyboards by performing with
orchestras, for several musicals and has accompanied numerous
operatic singers throughout the years making him a master of many
trades. He is a board member with the Lehigh Valley Blues
Network and can be found most Sunday evenings (on the nights he's
not gigging with The Main Street Cruisers) at the LVBN Blues Jam
where
he enjoys the musical company of his son Chris who in addition to
being one of the foremost up and coming guitarists in the country
(currently touring, and recording a new CD with his band The Sandlot
Heroes) is also a member of LVBN. Keeping alive the drive and
bottom that has helped develop the distinct sound of The Main Street
Cruisers Bill is one of the key pieces in the machinery that keeps
the band jumping.
